Program Director, Children’s Miracle Network

A dynamic leader is sought to oversee fundraising activities and event planning for the Children’s Miracle Network and will have accountability for national standards in creating public awareness in support of pediatric care throughout the region.  This highly visible leadership position will be responsible for an annual budget of $1M in annual revenue, and is responsible for 7 major annual events.  The Program Director will plan and successfully lead the annual events and advise donors while ensuring the success of campaigns, and will serve as the spokesperson through local media and other channels.  This position will report to Carilion Clinic Children’s Hospital leadership.

Qualifications include 3-5 years of leadership experience overseeing fundraising and event planning in a not for organization, and must possess advanced leadership, planning, communication skills, and the ability to manage projects toward successful completion.  A Bachelors degree in related field is required. 

Additional qualifications include excellent interpersonal and public relations skills, and the ability to build strong relationships, must have creative problems solving skills, oral and written communication skills, and a proven record of leading successful fundraising campaigns.
