Board Support and Governance

  • Coordinate winter and summer meetings of the O∆K Society Board of Directors and Foundation Board of Trustees
  • Staff the Governance Committee, Strategic Alliances Committee, Strategic Communications Committee and the National Advisory Council

Budget and Personnel Administration

  • Develop, manage and monitor communications and event budgets
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise interns

Communications and Publications

  • Direct public and community relations efforts of the Society
  • Direct online communications with circle officers, general membership and new members
  • Manage social media platforms
  • Draft stewardship and solicitation correspondence as well other publications to support O∆K’s fundraising program
  • Assembles presentations for various audiences
  • Direct administration of the O∆K website
  • Serve as editor of The Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa
  • Produce other national documents including brochures, stationery, invitations, programs and all printed materials as needed
  • Manage graphic identity standards program at the national level and with local circles
  • Produce annual circle officer resource toolkit
  • Manage the O∆K archives

Event Planing and National Programming

  • Direct biennial convention and leadership conference in even years
  • Direct regional drive-in meetings in odd years with support from the Leadership Consultant
  • Coordinate annual Founders’ Day celebration
  • Coordinate regional member receptions for donors and prospects
  • Manage O∆K’s partnership and alliance programs including Teach For America and the Washington Scholars Fellowship Program
